wee bit of me Wednesdays

A internet friend who is on my August weddings message board has a blog that I folllow. She does this short survey on Wednesdays. Even though its technically not about my boys. I thought it would be fun to do.

{one} if you won a trip to Disneyland/world, who would you take with you?
My kiddos and Eli of course. We are actually hoping to go within the next year and a half or two. I have never been and Eli has not been since he was very young. He does not remember it. It is the one place I am dying to go.

{two} when was the last time you listened to a CD?
This morning. I know old school right? I listen to Cd's in my care when nothing else is on the radio.I am not a fan of my ipod. I listen to pandora on my phone when I am walking/jogging but thats the only time I really use it.

{three} what spice/seasoning is your favorite?
I would  have to say Tony's for my husband. He thinks it should be on everything.

{four} if you were in a band, what kind of music would you play?
Something in between avril lavigne and katy perry maybe?

{five} if you could have personally witnessed one historical event, which one would it be?
This is a hard one. I would have loved to witness the first man walking on the moon.

{six} if you could go back to school, what would you study?
Teacher

{seven} if you could go to one sporting event, all expenses paid, which one would you see?
The Super Bowl… hands down.

{eight} do you drive an automatic or a manual?
I drive an automatic. I have no ida how to drive a manual

{nine} are you comfortable speaking in front of people?
No, not at all

{ten} have you ever experienced an earthquake?
Nope… thank God!

tball was rainied out.

I had hoped to have a nice post about Jordan's first tball practice today, but the rain had other plans. Now we will have tball and soccer practice on Thursday. So instead I leave you with Preston staring at himself in the mirror. It is one of his new favorite things to do.

Weekend Roundup

Friday night was a "boring" night around our house but we enjoyed it. Jordan is starting to enjoy playing with Preston more since Preston is more intrested in toys.

so after bath time Friday afternoon the kids laid on the floor and plaid for at least two hours. Saturday morning Jordan had a soccer game.
I was so excited I finally got some pictures of Jordan playing soccer.
Preston always enjoys soccer games since he gets to watch all the kids run and play.
I am so impressed with Jordan and his soccer skills. He is surprisingly really good and enjoys it. After soccer we enjoyed a day of shopping with Patricia. Preston got a rubber duck to play with in the tub.
He loved to try and eat it. Sunday was a lazy/cleaning day around the house.
First we had to pull ALL of Preston's toys out and watch some cartoons. Jordan spent the rest of the day outside helping my mom with the garden while me and Preston did some cleaning and cooking for the upcoming week. Eli gave Preston a bath and decided to try out Preston's swing which he hasn't sat in for about three months.
and this is why. My wonderful escape artist will not be held down by anything. He is way to busy for that. Now both of the kids are asleep, Eli is at work, and this mommy is enjoying some "me" time.

Is it Friday yet?

It has been a long week at the Morse house. Monday I took preston to the doctor and he has/had a bad cold. Monday night I started in with the stomach virus about two hours after I started with it Jordan got it to. Then of course Preston got it. We tried to make it to the 1st tball practice but we didn't. I plan to take pics next week and just call that our first practice. We have soccer practice tonight and a game Saturday so we are all looking forward to that.

Singing

This is Preston's version of singing in the bathtub!

Typical Saturday

Yesterday was a typical Saturday with WONDERFUL weather. It was so nice to spend the day with both of my boys. We woke up and had breakfast and since Preston hasn't seen Jordan in a few days he was more than excited to play with Jordan.

They enjoyed a few saturday morning cartoons together before getting ready for Jordan's soccer game. I didn't get any pictures at the soccer game which I am a little bummed about. I hope to get some next week since Eli may be able to come. After soccer and lunch we started the process of cleaning out closets. I got Jordan's closet organized with winter clothes at the top of the closet and summer clothes on the bottom. Preston took a nap in his bed which is a first so me and Jordan colored and made a "city" to put on his wall.

O yea and we went to walmart and I put Preston's crocs on him. When we got ready to check out this is how I found him.

At least we made our cashier laugh!

I love shoes!

If anyone knows anything about me they know I am addicted to shoes. So of course my kids have way to many pairs of shoes. I think the first thing I bought preston was a pair of boots. Now my BOYS don't care about shoes half as much as I do so I get to buy them what I like.

As soon spring weather started to show up I knew I wanted to get Preston a pair of crocs. I searched everywhere and even posted on Facebook to ask people to keep an eye out for some. I finally found some on ebay that I liked. They fit perfect and look adorable, but there is a problem. Preston thinks they are a chew toy. I put them on him this morning for the first time and he spent a good 30 minutes attemting to eat them. I guess he realized he couldn't eat them with his foot in them so then he begin to try and kick them off. You would have thought the baby had ants in his pants.

Needless to say he was very amazed with these new shoes on his feet. When I went to get him out of the car at daycare this morning  he had one shoe off and was chewing on it. He just looked at me and smiled.

St. Patricks day

Jordan is gone fishing with Pappy (Eli's dad) this week so I am going to have to replay St. Patricks day this weekend when he comes home. I snapped a few pictures this morning with my phone of Preston.

Happy St. Patricks day!

Me and Preston this morning.

The remote is a major fascination. Once he spotted it he was finished taking pictures.

Just like a typical boy. He got the remote then it was time to be lazy.

Preston sitting up

I can't believe he is already sitting up! He is getting so big.

Why I am starting a blog?

When I had Jordan I wrote everything down, and took pictures of everything. I thought for sure I would do the same thing when I found out I was pregnant with Preston. I took pictures weekly when I was pregnant but, sadly I have failed since Preston has been born. I haven't wrote in Jordan's baby book in over a year. So, I decided that I would start a blog about my journey of being a mother to my two wonderful boys. It is something I can show them when they are older. I can talk about anything I want to. I don't have to post it on facebook, and I won't feel like people are being forced to read it.

Jordan 6 yrs old. Preston 6 months old.
